kilhoran black lined up last night in his first competitive 525 race in tralee he ran well enough to be fair but i was a little disapointed that he did not win he ran a great third bend showing great guts and determination to go up the inside but didnt have enough left in the tank to hold on just being pipped by a length and a short head for second place he took a couple of early bumps on the run

I headed back west to have a look at my newest pup kilhoran shelly (headbound x farantane sinead) last Sunday and i have to say I'm delighted with her she is a fine big bitch id say up on 60lb already and she is only 6 months old she is very well made with a fine deep chest and nice straight legs,i know looks mean nothing but its still nice to see a well made dog at any stage of their career Tom

Kilhoran aoife made her comeback to the track today with a re qualifying trial in tralee over the 325 trip she has been off the track for the past 5 weeks with a muscle injury but on todays evidence shes is back 100 percent fit... flying around the sprint trip in a very fast 17.77 she will be stepped back up to the 525 for her next race in a few weeks time
