Scarty lad was a red hot 1/2 favourite on the night and it was 7/1 bar
On a dreadful night in thurles with wind and rain blowing i thought for a while that it might be called off; i have to say it really was brutal conditions for beast or man and what the powers that be where thinking of making connections parade their dogs on the night i will never know, all dogs on the night should have gone straight to traps and forget the parade we all know that the track has to play to shelbourne parks tune when it comes to off times but last night it was ridiculous to see kennel hands drowned to the skin walking around the inner field waiting to go to traps
Congrats to paul hennessy on his win last night with comeonthecats he didn't win any heat of the stake but popped out on the night it counted and led all the way to win in a fast 28.88 on a track that had to running 30 slow
