Well i have a sore head this morning but i don't care!!!!! had a great win last night with after the ball in tralee he bombed out and led all the way to win in a career best 29.25 bring him up to a2 class €500 euros prize money and a grand trophy,ill put up the picture when i get it,none of the syndicate bothered to show up so it was just me and my dad standing for the photo...lol it was a nice tonic after the disappointment yesterday with my pup.
There was a fabulous run on the night from green heat Liam Dowlings produce stake winner came from behind scarty lad to get up on the line to win by a neck in a brilliant time of 29.69 for the 550 yd trip just a half length out side the track record.
It was disappointing for the connections of scarty to get collared on the line but the writing was on the wall when green heat turned second behind him with about 3 lengths to make up he had to pull out all the stops and just got up in the shadow of the post... well done Liam
I checked over kilhoran classic this morning as well and he seems to be a lot better on his injury in fact he is hardly sore at all so hopefully it is more soreness than a recurrence of the old injury and i will give a run to the vet tomorrow to get an x ray to be sure so fingers crossed
