Tralee tonight

The kingdom greyhound stadium hosts a very decent card tonight in tralee with the semi finals of the moormack developments a4 525 sweep taking centre stage with €16000 to the winner the so called "big" trainers still did not support it to be fair and instead of a 72 dog sweep it was run off a 48 dog sweep the entry fee of €70 might have been a bit steep for the ordinary joe soap with his genuine a4 dog but to be fair i don't think that it was intended for them and was aimed at the "improving" types so to speak

I have no doubt if this sweep was ran in cork, clonmel, shelbourne, galway it would be filled and the "big" trainers would have supported it.....anyways rant over

In the first semi final headleys bridge looks the one to be on with an unbeaten record he looks like he will make it 3 from 3 in the first semi final with the paddy mc cormack trained ardera amigo taking the second spot from graigues flash in 3rd

The second semi final sees the sponsors killahan panther go to traps and this looks to be a trappy heat with lots in with chances ballymac ken could lead up and might cause a shock but realistically its hard to see beyond the pat buckley trained "panther"

the under card host an open 550 12 dog sweep along with a open 325 12 dog sprint both have top class entries with scarty lad and liketheclappers taking their places along with mercury king the kennedy cup winner
