Joe dunne memorial takes centre stage...

Shelbourne park tonight plays host to some top class pups with the first round heats of the joe dunne memorial
Some of the country best pups are on show with the 4th heat putting 2 of the best pups in training against each other the kerry owned Killahan Phanter and the owen mckenna trained Blackstone Rio who also boast some impressive times in the line up im going to stick with my own county in this one
An Tochar Blue the recent puppy derby finalist looks like he will be warm order in the 3rd heat and is taken to win
In the first heat of the night im going for Allmightyjack he ran against top company in his last run around shelbourne and i would expect him to put up a good show and at a decent price could be value for a place
Prodigious will be hot favourite in the 2nd heat but im going for a complete outsider in this one
Im going to plump for Local Pilot he was bred and reared by the man that rears for me pat sheehy in lixnaw and was sold unraced for decent money its a step up in class for this fella but he has a nice draw and in one of the "easier" heats of the nights im going to tip him up to fly the traps and lead all the way
In cork tonight the 3 semi finals of the guiness are headlining the card the first round heats didnt throw up to many clues to the outright winner of this event and with only 2 to qualify from each heat a watching brief maybe the best advice.
