I called up to pat and margerate sheehys today in lixnaw to have a look at a pup i have rearing there and we sat and chatted a while and they told me christy lucy had called with the oaks trophy during the week and kindly gave me the picture of same (from left to right christy with the trophy,margerate and pat)
christy and pat go back along way in fact pat bred a litter of pups many moons ago and sold christy a dog and a bitch... the said bitch sullane princess went on to win the english oaks in 1986 so christy now has had a oaks winner on the coursing field and and english oaks winner on the track
well done to both christy and james kelleher on their recent win

Was that an early paced bitch who won at a huge price.
I got the unplaced dogs up that night, everybody else in the shop got knocked out by her.
