Kilhoran choice got well stuffed in his novice race last night,he broke well and was in front passing the line for the first time but was quickly swallowed up before he got to the bend he met serious trouble at the first and second bend knocking him back to a bad last going up the back straight he then got blocked off at the 3rd but ran on well enough after to finish 4th beaten 8 lengths in 29.43 and to be in front at the pick up
All in all he ran very green and got in heaps of trouble but his overall run was encouraging enough even though i was disappointed he looks to be lacking some early pace and maybe his long term game will be over a longer distance He is now graded in at a7 so i will look for a small 12 dog sweep maybe over the 550/575 yard trip i could run him over the 750 yd trip but i think at 18 months he is a little young
