What a brilliant nights racing last Saturday in shelbourne park with some of the best dogs in training strutting there stuff,shelbourne aston won the big one on the night using all his staying power to overhaul longtime leader killahan phanter in the shadow of the post a cracking race with only a couple of lengths covering the first five home well done to the connections of aston who by all accounts landed a nice wager to boot he is a dog that has been punted before for a good few competitions with no luck but saturday night last came good taking up to 150 k out of the ring for the winning connections also well done to my fella blogger johny moyles who tipped this fella up ante post at 33/1 on his blog
There was a few smart performances on the under card as well but one dog that realy looks to be hitting form at the right time with the derby just around the corner is nawhobberthadda who showed tremendous pace on the night he was very unlucky not to win but he will be winning very soon and at 33/1 he looks a little bit of value for the derby
The locally owned and trained kick for touch made his shelbourne park debut in the puppys race but found the step up in class to much but he will be winning races very soon he didn't show the same sparkle he has done in tralee but then again the winner was doing 28.68
