Tonight sees tralee host a massive benefit night for the retired greyhound trust organised by kathleen murphy and domonic macnone from greyhound and pet world in abbyfeale lots of hours have gone into this behind the scenes and it promises to be a fantastic night with lots of top prize money up for grabs
tickets have been selling like hot cakes and there will be some decent spot prizes on offer the likes of a walking machine and ultra sound along with some top stud services
A big crowd is expected
On the racing front the top heat is the 9th race an open 550 worth €1500 to the winner it brings together some top dogs the likes of recent derby runners cashen pedro,shaws border and droopys arsene,locally owned kick for touch is housed in trap 4 and this will be his biggest test so far,callums lad and reen roe make up the full field
A tough race but a slight preference is given to kick for touch to continue on his winning way
