i gave a spin to cork last night to watch the fare that was on offer and i was not disappointed with some of the best dogs in training running, the track looked in tip top condition and there was a decent size crowd; fastest time of the night went to the Ann wade trained rapid express who flew round in a brilliant 28.24 to beat the odds on allmightyjack by 1 1/2 lengths it has to be said the track looked to be running a little quicker earlier in the night but take nothing away from the winners performance i also think there was a track bias favouring the inside runners on the night
my ante post tip tyrur laurel did the business in heat 9 taking the scalp of derby runner up slip the lark and cabra boss in a decent 28.40,Pat Buckley had better luck earlier in the night with both cabre cool and droopys teabag taking their respective heats in 28.28 and 28.46 it looks to be a top class renewal this year and will take a lot of winning one thing that is especially evident after last nights action is there is masssive early pace on show the fastest split on the night went to tyrur laurel with a brilliant 3.28 but there where many in the low 30s
