Dinnenos lad (pictured) has his first run for me tonight in an s4 sprint in tralee this evening running from trap 5 in the fourth race i am quietly confident he will be good enough to win if he comes away well and avoids any trouble i will be disappointed if he gets beat
I have had him about 4 weeks now in the kennel and he is not fully wound up as yet but he is in good shape to do himself justice depending how the result goes tonight the plan is to try and step him up to 500 or 525 and see will he stay from his one 525 trial that i gave him it looked to me that he doesn't but he was only in the kennel a few days at the time and in is recent sprint trials he has been staying on a lot better to the pick up so I'm hopeful there is Little more in the tank But first things first we need to get him to win tonight the main danger in the race look to be trap 3 a veteran he maybe but on his day he is capable of a good run my lad is inclined to go right from trap rise and then cut the bend so i just hope he can get out in front of 6 and have enough pace to clear the inside runners at the first turn
