Feast of racing this weekend

We are spoiled for choice this weekend with top class racing all round the country on Friday night we have the final of the puppy derby in harolds cross and it looks to be one of the best in years with all 6 runners in with live chances,i have a few quid on timor blue ante post so i hope he wins but i really like accordello, this son of westmead hawk looks good value at 13/2 on offer by cashmans and i might have a little saver on the night, onto youghal where we have the semi finals of the prestigious diarmud coffey unraced, owen mckenna has made this his own in recent years and has a strong hand this year with the likes of blackstone bruce and lios an araig but he wont have it all his own way with stephen bourke having a few nice types still in the hunt
tralee hosts the 2nd round of the a1 rathmore developements sweep on friday night and this certainly looks to be a hot one with some fast times being recorded in the first round my fancy here is for evans murrali

Saturday night curraheen plays host to the 2 semi finals of the 2008 laurels and there are still lots in with chances pat buckley is treble handed here with slip the lark and with brothers cabra cool and cabra boss and he will have a big say,i have tyrur laurel backed at a tasty 50/1ante post and im hopefull he will qualify but one i really liked last week was the mark moloney trained solinus
In shelbourne the opening rounds of the igb national 750 worth 10 thousand to the winner is the headline act and some of Ireland's top stayers on display are on show, droopys quiff looks to be a worthy favourite
Also on Saturday night the final of the midland oaks takes place in mullingar, rising smoke looks the likely fav but is drawn out in 5 which will not suit but if she does her running she should be good enough for this field and with gerry holian in her corner she is with a kennel that is currently on fire
and last but not least on Sunday night clonmel hosts the first rounds of the a2 munster puppy cup
top class racing everywhere!!
