Maeve gets the job done

Local maeve owned by pat and mag sheehy and now trained here at kilhoran kennels got the job done nicely in tralee tonight,winning in a decent 18.10
i was on tender hooks before the race as i didn't really know how she would react even though i was very happy with her re schooling trials........ but trials and races are totally different
Anyways its nice to get her back on the straight and narrow and trying to get her off the hare at the pick up was a monumental task... i kid you not!!..... she disappeared into the hare cover and the only way i could get her out was get down on my hands and knees and pull her by the tail!!
Iwill sprint her away for the moment as she has done no damage to her card and with a little luck she should go in again i will probably take another lb off her for her next race as she looks to be carrying a little more condition than i would like
