A good show from headleys mentor last night in the first round of the paddy byrne in a heat that looked pretty tough on paper he performed well to finish 2nd to hot pot kick for touch who to be fair looked a class above the rest of the field and so it proved when he powered away to win in very quick 28.49 beating a staying on mentor 4 lengths clocking an estimated time of 28.77
Qualifying is the name of the game at this stage and im happy enough to be in the hat for the next round
