Well I'm off to cork tonight with our syndicates after the ball to run in the semi finals of The Cork G.O.B.A Past Presidents Stake;in the first round he lead all the way only to be pipped on the line to finish 3rd,i have always had the feeling he may be a suspect stayer and last week bore this out
He has drawn what in my opinion is the tougher of the 2 semis and boxed in trap 1 i'm more hopeful than confident that he will qualify
Liam o callagahan and Denis Fitzgerald look to hold the favourites tag on paper after a nip and tuck battle last weekend the o callaghan dog just prevailing; i have a lot to make up on the clock so fingers crossed
I have had an infestation of "skirteans" in the kennel over the past few weeks and after the ball was affected more than most after weeks of pour on and disinfecting kennels weekly i seem to have it under control after trying a new tick collar which seems to be doing the job
The weather has been diabolical this week and I'm short a little bit of work and i have taken a 1lb or so off him which i hope might help him stay on a little better
so lets hope it drys up a little for tonight because getting wet is one thing but getting wet and beat is a real pain in the ass....lol
