Tralee track lacking trainer support

Ive mentioned this topic before on my blog but events in shelbourne park brought it to mind again last night;tralee recently advertised the kingdom derby worth 10 grand to the winner for 48 entries but they did not get the entries to fill it and had to run it with 36 runners now looking at shelbourne park card last night there was 3 top open class races on the card with the likes of holyromanemporor,gass mcghee,team captain,all heart,black spiral,highbury lao,galdare harlie,shingaun stan ect ect all running now here is the question..... why didn't they run in the kingdom derby? they ran in one off races for 500 euro in the park instead..makes no sense to me tralee track also recently held an a4 sweep worth €16000 to the winner for 72 runners again it was badly supported by the top trainers and had to be reduced down to 48 runners...now if that kind of prize money cant tempt them to the kingdom .....what will???
