I was up at pat sheehys yesterday afternoon and i took this fella(pictured)along with another 10 month old bitch for a bit of a hunt to see would i meet any game,he is not leading yet and it was his first time on a collar and lead so you can imagine it was not the easiest job in the world but after 10 or 15 minutes he came around to my way of thinking!!!
Anyways it wasnt long before up popped a little bunny and sure enough he was well clued in and chased for his life he got 3/4 nice turns before he captured his prey the bitch wasnt as keen and was inclined to back away a little but she will be fine in a couple of weeks
A good start for a pup so young,when i got back to the yard i weighed him and he is 70 odd lb at 7 1/2 months!!! So he def wont be small i just hope he wont be too big!!!

retired we started them too quick, mind them well,
they were some of his first pups in Ireland
