No luck in Limerick

Aerial views come back run in limerick didnt go according to plan last night finishing last in his heat

Four dubs and him self flew to the bend together doing a 4.86 split which in itself is very very fast they had a coming together between the first 2 bends with aerial view coming off worse and being shuffeled back to 3rd he looked from where he was he would still have a good chance to qualify but faded badly on the run for home and eventually finished last its a shame but thats dog racing for you lets just hope he is sound this morning.The kudos sprint in cork looks like his next assignment

The most impressive run on the night came from roxholme king (who i backed) he bolted from traps and had a solo to record a smashing 28.31

Bua visteni who i tipped up popped out to win his heat in a fast 28.43 and with his early pace will be in the shake up come final night

Of my tips on the night i had 2 winners with killacolla power doing the business for the fitzgerald family,they really do have a great record with novice runners the downside was his price he returned at 1/2 fav

I have to say the bookies in limerick dont take ANY chances with some of the runners returning very short prices

Cherokee playboy ran very flat and was in with every chance going up the back to win but didnt have his usual finishing kick,speaking to ann wade after she said he badly wanted the race as he has been off the track for quiet some time and would be well short off race fitness

Rockinham was another to dissapoint although i didnt stay to see the race going on the igb race comments he missed his break and didnt run up to scratch after
Saturday night hosts the 2nd round and the first heat has brought together bua vistini and roxholme king which should be a cracking race

It was a freezing cold night in limerick but a good addition to the track is the mobile take away (chip van..lol) although it was a bit expensive with a small carton of chips going for €3.00
