Mike Cronin Readymix Juvenile Classic

Tomorrow night sees the kingdom greyhound stadium host its biggest competition of the year with the first round heats of the mike cronin unraced getting underway,in a competition that has a top class line up pat buckley has a strong hand with no less than 6 pups and it will be a surprise if one of these is not in the shake up come final night

Owen mckenna brings down a small enough team with just 2 runners but you can be sure they will run well for the mullinahone man

The top trainer in the country in 07 paul hennessy has no runner and its a big surprise with the quality owners he has that he has not laid one out for this prestigious stake having said that there is no sign of frazer black or seamus graham either this year who went very close with anycrackjack last year

All in all a top class sweep to look forward to over the coming weeks its just a shame there is not more local runners heading to traps Ive heard a lot of prospective runners where put off by the fast trials over the past few weeks i know for a fact one man that had an unraced pup breaking 29 seconds in trials and he decided to give it a miss as he thought he would have no chance
