The last 2 racing nights in tralee where nothing to write home about with fairly average grade on show however these fellas are some owners pride and joy and have to run and its hard to have good class racing every night but i think they should try and spread it around a bit more
There was a couple of nice runs however on last nights card and a double for cork based Liam o Callaghan and greyhound data forum member Anthony dwyer with roaming cruiser and roaming abbey both coming home with their head in front on the line roaming cruiser (tucks mein x lassana kitty) an august 06 whelp was having his first race so he had a bit of age on his side however none the less he did the business really well after missing his break he showed real pace to lead around the bend and win going away in a time of 18.13 there was lots of time left on the track for this one and will be winning again very soon so he is one for the notebook
Hard luck story on the night has to go to solinus this fella was a recent finalist in the laurels and looked a good thing in the company he was in with all was going to plan after a quick break from trap 5 he took up the running early on and was making the best of his way home when up the back he suddenly went badly lame and trailed in a well beaten last and it didn't look good for this brilliant tracker lets hope they can get him back on track and back to his best
