Aughacasla adam lines up in trap 1 on Saturday night next in limerick track in the semi finals of the tote retention open puppy sweep with only 2 to qualify (a system that annoys the hell out of me but in this instance they did not have enough of dogs entered to run it any other way with the produce stakes just around the corner 3 rounds would not work)
He will have to be on his toes early on but on paper it doesn't look too bad the saleen kennels is in top form at the moment and with 2 runners they could be the main danger
It is nice to be running in open puppy rather than all age company and it is a thing that there should be more puppy competitions for A1,A2 and A3 pups
The dog is in top form and is due one more short gallop tomorrow and then we will be keeping our fingers crossed for Saturday night
