No fireworks in puppy oaks first round

I had a wee look at the results from shelbourne park last night where the first rounds of the puppy oaks got underway to be fair the line up on the night was a poor enough one in my eyes with some average bitches in the line up i honestly though there would have been a stronger entry for this sweep and with the trial Aoife did last week i didn't think she deserved her place in the line up but looking at last nights card she would have been well capable of holding her own in fact the bitch she beat in her trial made it through to the next round after qualifying in third in her heat
In hindsight maybe i should have let her take her chance but whats done is done and we will just have to move on and plan for something else with her
I currently have Aoife entered for a sprint in tralee but i see an a3 525 advertised in Thurles for the coming weeks and if it suits and i get time for a trial around it i might give her a spin in that i think her early pace would definitely be a plus on a track like Thurles
