kilhoran Aoife made it 3 in a row last night in tralee bringing her race record to 3 wins from 4 going into the race she seemed a bit subdued and wasn't on her toes like she usually is on her morning walk so i was a little concerned that she was not her self she had perked up a good bit by race time and when i got to the track she was definitely up for it i think now she has a bit of age that she is getting a a little more used to the build up on race day
Anyways the bookies made her 1/1 fav and when my nephew came up to me in the parade ring before the race and said she had better win and that he had 15 euros on her the pressure was on.....lol
Onto the race she missed her break which is unusual for her with the 6 taking a flyer she looked up against it but showed good pace to make the bend in front she drifted wide here and took a bump from the 6 and lost her momentum a little but soon gathered herself and ran on well to win handy enough in the end from trap 3 and stayed on really well to the pick up
All in all a good night for my self and her co owner Stuart Welford and a couple of pints where drank to celebrate!!
The step up in trip to 525 is next on the agenda for this lady and on last nights running i don't for see any problem with her getting it
