Ace gets the job done

Kilhoran ace qualified handy enough in tralee first time today finishing second in a 3 dog trial in a time of 30.29 he was beaten 1 1/2 lengths so an estimated time of 30.39 so he is nicely graded in n2 class off that run
He ran well to be fair although he was badly left in traps giving the leader a good 8 lengths from trap rise but he showed good pace early on he took 2nd place around the third bend but he had done his running at that stage and tired visible coming home but i was happy enough with his run and there is still a lot left in the locker i wont do a lot with him as he is very young and its likely i will give him a sprint trial in 6 to 8 weeks before i put him into any kind of serious work
A good start to the week anyway,lets hope aoife and venture can keep the ball rolling on Thursday and Friday
