Ventures day has come

Well its taken a while but the day is here where kilhoran venture will have his first official outing on a race track he will line up from trap 5 in the 6th heat of the red mills champion unraced stake in kilkenny on friday night and on paper it looks a pretty tough one with trainers of the calibre of matt o donnell,pat buckley and john keily all having runners;obviously its hard to gauge what im up against but with the likes of buckley and o donnell both having a very strong kennel strength its likely that there 2 runners will know what the game is about and will no doubt be able to run a bit
John keilys runner is no slouch either after qualifying in youghal in a quick 29.77 and he is a trainer that knows the time of day so it would be no surprise to see this lad put in a big run
anyways we are in the draw and that's all we can ask for at this point in time
The hard work is done with our runner its taken lot of time and patience so lets hope he puts his best foot forward on the night and with a little luck we can get him through to the next round
