Red mills champion unraced semi finals

Tomorrow night kilhoran venture lines up in the third semi final of the red mills unraced in kilkenny he has drawn trap 4 in the third semi of the night and with only two to qualify there is no room for a mistake
The trap will definitely be a help to him after racing from trap 6 last week but looking at his previous runs he likes to get the rails early on so maybe closer to the fence would suit a bit better but I'm happy enough with what i have
The make up of the race is tricky enough with 2 of last weeks heat winners in the line up fastest of the second round deadly buzz and the unbeaten definate options the latter ran really well the first night to win coming from behind he showed a nice turn of foot up the back to win going away
In trap one we have a paul hennessy trained runner this fella looks to be lacking early pace and will have to do it the hard way if he is to qualify on the night
trap 2 houses deadly buzz this son of head bound and cabra dancer will probably be favourite on the night and if he can repeat last weeks run he will be hard to beat;a 4.57 split will give him a decent Chance to lead
In trap 3 we have definate options this son of surf lorian is the only unbeaten runner in the line up and is a powerful runner but looks to lack a yard to the bend but if he is close enough up the back the one in front had better look out
In trap 5 we have blackcastle mike i don't really know much about this runner as i didn't see him run any of the past 2 nights so is an unknown quantity to me
finally in trap 6 we have the denis o driscoll trained goblet of fun this fella led the trap 2 runner last week but looked to find the trip tough enough but could be the one that slips around the first bend in front although i think 6 is a tough trap in kilkenny to win from
Our fella runs from trap 4 and on the printed splits from last week you would expect him to lead but i think there may have been an error with the splits times
He is in good form and i have done very little with him this past week as the track in kilkenny is tough and takes some getting so he is fresh and ready to run and we are hopeful of a good run it would be nice to get to the final
