Well I'm off to cork the weekend with our syndicate dog after the ball to run in the tyrur ted a3 sweep 24 entries and €1500 and a trophy to the winner... how bad would that be!!!!
First things first though we need to get over the first round before we can even dream about winning having looked through the entry it looks to be a decent enough line up and I'm sure there are some unexposed types among the 24(there always is..lol) but at least its a no backgrader sweep so it gives everyone a fair crack of the whip
I'm in the 3rd heat,4 of the six have raced in tralee and 3 are Kerry owned and trained,i have drawn six and though not ideal i cant grumble in this game you take what cards you are dealt.
On my inside is black max this john duggan trained fella with 4 wins from 7 outings has a nice touch of early pace so i will be up against it to make the bend in front.
my fellas hasn't been in the best of form lately at home in the kennel he just seems to be a little out of sorts although he is grubbing up well so fingers crossed we will see how it goes and hope to qualify
