One step to far for venture

A massive crown turned up last night in kilkenny for the B.E.A.M annual charity night the card hosted 11 finals in all and some exciting racing for those present
Unfortunately our fella came up short on the night the winner yahoo Gerry won on merit and was a deserving champion he flew the lids in a 4.40 split and that was that
venture gave chase after some bunching at the first bend but was never going to get to this Strong running sort obviously it was disappointing to finish second but that's greyhound racing and if you had asked me at the start of the sweep would i have taken 2nd place i would have taken your hand off
well done to the winner and it will be interesting to follow his progress,another that will be one to watch is minnies oscar definitely one to keep on the right side of in future
plans are fluid enough for venture we will give him a cpl of weeks rest and see where we go from there
