Mentor runs well or second

Headleys mentor ran well to finish 2nd in the final of the oliver hawks memorial but to be fair the whole field where outclassed by definate opinion who won by a whooping 10 lengths in a brillinat 30.79,once he turned in front it was race over,my fella ran well enough for 4 bends but never got in a blow with the winner, the gap off the last bend was about 4 lengths but from here opinion just opened up and pulled away at his ease mentor hung on for 2nd from a fast finishing st louis spirit to win a nice runner up prize of 1400 euro for his owner, its likely i will run him in cork again in a cpl of weeks but he will be definitly dropping down to 525 or 550 as the 575 trip was too far for him i think i will stick the wide seed back on him it may well help his chances, its been a few races since he got his head in front but to be fair hes been running in pretty decent company and finishing second to definitate opinion in his last 2 races was no disgrace with some pretty good dogs behind him
