Mentor heads for the bright lights

A bit of a snap decision sees headleys mentor heading to shelbourne park on Saturday night next to line up in an a1 525 12 dog sweep i had not intended heading for the big smoke but there really was nothing else on for him hes not the best on the gallop and really needs a lead dog to make him work and at the moment i have nothing to put up in front of him so i might as well race him than have him lieing on his bed he lines up in trap 1 which is far from ideal in the first race of the night but I'm hopeful of a decent show if i can get him into the qualifying positions ill be happy enough as the look round will do him no harm
